£55The first stop on your journey to HGV Driving. This is typically a 5-10 minute chat with a doctor, which evaluates if your health is adequate to apply for a provisional licence.
Apply for your Provisional
FREEThe next step is to then send off your licence to gain your provisional. Do this by completed a D2 form (from the post office) and send this with a completed D4 (from your medical provider) and post these to the DVLA with your licence.
DVSA Theory Tests
£60There are three theory tests to be completed, multiple choice, hazard perception, and CPC Case Studies. These need to be completed prior to starting your driver training.
Reverse Training
£360 inc. VATTest Fee: £40
This is your first session in the vehicle. You will complete 4 hours of reverse training, and then a 30-minute reverse test. A free resit is also available if unsuccessful. Class 1 learners will also be required to complete a couple and uncouple.
On Road Training
24 Hours: £2160 inc. VAT28 Hours: £2520 inc. VAT
Test Fee: £115
You can then focus purely on your on-road training. This involves 4 hour sessions, 1-on-1 with an instructor covering everything you will be tested on at your driving test, as well as covering potential test routes. Your driving test will take place on your last day.
Module 4 CPC Training
Training: £240 inc. VATTest Fee: £55
The final stop on your journey. This involves a 4-hour session, including a test, on the vocational and safety areas of driving. This will cover you on CPC for 5 years.
